Sandra Liliana Jimenez Giraldo, MD

Pediatric Neurologist

Sandra Liliana Jimenez Giraldo, MD, is a pediatric neurologist at Hasbro Children’s Hospital.

She earned a medical degree from the Universidad El Bosque, Escuela Colombiana de Medicina, in Colombia. Her fellowship was in pediatric multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at Boston Children’s Hospital. She completed a residency in child neurology and pediatrics, both at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children and Temple University Hospital.

Dr. Jimenez Giraldo has presented frequently at professional conferences and has co-authored several peer-reviewed articles. Previous work experience has included private practice and ambulance crew leader, both in Colombia, where she also volunteered her medical services for the Fundación Internacional Maria Luisa de Moreno. Currently, she volunteers with MIRA USA, a non-profit organization to promotes the social integration of immigrants in the US.

Dr. Jimenez Giraldo is a member of the Child Neurology Society, Kaplan Medical Honor Society, and the American Academy of Neurology. She is fluent in Spanish.
