Shafiq Tajdin Mamdani, MD, FACC, FSCAI is a cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Institute, with expertise in general and interventional cardiology. He is also a clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 

Dr. Mamdani received his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, completed his residency at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and completed fellowships in vascular medicine and intervention at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts; in cardiovascular medicine and interventional cardiology at Yale University School of Medicine; and Yale-New Haven Medical Center in New Haven, Connecticut; and in cardiovascular medicine at University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
