Director of Breast Oncology, Lifespan Cancer Institute

As director of breast oncology at the Lifespan Cancer Institute, Stephanie Graff, MD, shares her commitment to breast cancer research and advocacy with her patients and colleagues.

Before joining Lifespan, Dr. Graff held multiple positions at several locations of the Sarah Cannon Cancer Institute Network. She was national breast lead of clinical programs and associate director of the breast cancer research program in Nashville, and director of the clinical research program in Kansas City, Missouri.

An active member of numerous boards of directors and professional committees, Dr. Graff has been involved with the American Cancer Society (Kansas City), the Susan Love Research Foundation, the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and other prominent organizations. She has authored and co-authored many research papers and articles related to her areas of expertise and has been invited frequently to address and lecture on medical and scientific symposia and panels.

Dr. Graff obtained a medical degree at University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine where she also completed a residency in internal medicine and later served as chief medicine resident with its partner, St. Luke’s Hospital. She completed a fellowship in hematology/medical oncology and sub-fellowship in breast oncology at the University of Kansas.
