Tina M. Burton, MD

Tina M. Burton, MD is a vascular neurologist at Lifespan. Dr. Burton received her medical degree from the University of Utah School of Medicine. She completed her residency in neurology at the University of Utah School of Medicine, becoming chief resident of research. She completed a clinical fellowship and research fellowship in vascular neurology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH)/National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), becoming chief vascular neurology fellow. Dr. Burton was also an adjunct assistant professor of neurology at the University of Utah. 

Dr. Burton was an associate investigator in several studies regarding stroke and other cerebrovascular diseases, and is the author of a number of published papers, abstracts and presentations. She is a member of several medical societies including the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association and the American Academy of Neurology.
