Adolescent Sexual and Menstrual Health Program

Sexual and menstrual health are critical aspects of human development. At Lifespan, we aim to help children, families, and young adults smoothly navigate the journey to maturity.

Our experts offer thorough education and guidance on topics related to puberty, menstrual (period) health, and sexual health, including the particular issues this life stage presents for children with special needs.

Our clinicians provide patient-centered, developmentally-informed, and gender-inclusive, care to children, teens, and young adults during and after puberty.  Our focus is on helping young people understand and feel more comfortable with their sexual health in order to support healthy decision-making. Our clinicians are specialty-trained in the needs of diverse populations, including young people with complex medical, developmental, or behavioral conditions.
