Child Life Student Internships

Applicants must be a matriculated student, enrolled in a child life specific undergraduate or graduate degree program. Interns seeking an independent placement will not be accepted. Application deadlines set forth by the Association of Child Life Professionals are strictly adhered to.

We will not be accepting applications for the spring or summer 2026 semesters. Applications will be accepted for the fall 2026 semester. We do not offer practicum or shadow opportunities.

Next Steps

If an application is accepted, an interview will be scheduled. Prior to scheduling an interview, the hospital must develop a contract with the academic institution.

All of the remaining items in the requirements listed above must be sent prior the interview.
