Technology & Innovation

At the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center, we have invested in the most state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment to incorporate technology into our patients' therapies. These new tools help us to track patients' progress, make exercises more fun and interactive, and ultimately result in better outcomes.

EksoNR Exoskeleton

The EksoNR is a wearable robotic exoskeleton that helps physical rehabilitation patients learn to walk again.

Interactive Technology

Therapists can work with patients to play interactive games on iPads, helping with cognitive therapy and practice using devices they may be accustomed to using in their daily lives.

GaitBetter

The GaitBetter treadmill system incorporates a television monitor to help patients improve walking while using virtual reality to simulate different terrain and obstacles to navigate.
