What Types of Cancers Are Treated by Interventional Oncology?
Our interventional oncologists treat tumors in the bones, lungs, liver, kidneys, adrenal glands, and other soft tissues of the body. We use state-of-the-art imaging and the latest treatment technology to kill cancer cells with the aim of curing the patient, or in cases where a complete cure cannot be achieved, to significantly shrink the tumor in order to relieve symptoms.
Lung Cancer
- Primary lung cancers (non-small cell lung cancers, adenocarcinomas, squamous cell carcinoma, carcinoid tumors)
- Metastatic cancer from another organ that has traveled to the lung(s)

- Metastatic cancer from another organ that has traveled to the liver (neuroendocrine cancer, colon/rectal cancer, breast cancer, pancreatic cancer)
Kidney Cancer
