Mary Catherine DeRosa, MD, FACOG, NCMP, CCD is a gynecologist at Lifespan Physician Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology and director of the Menopause Consultation Program at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. She is a clinical assistant professor of obstetrics and gynecology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her areas of interest include menopause and sexuality.
Dr. DeRosa has more than 30 years of experience in women’s health and is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) as a nationally certified menopause provider, and the International Society of Clinical Densitometry as a certified clinical densitometrist.
In 2002, Dr. DeRosa founded The Independent Woman, a single specialty gynecology practice in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Dr. DeRosa received a medical degree from the State University of New York, Upstate Medical College in Syracuse, New York, and completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York.
Dr. DeRosa cares for gynecology patients and patients in the Menopause Consultation Program.
Debra Brendel, MD, NCMP, FACOG is a gynecologist at Lifespan Physician Group, Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Brendel graduated from Providence College before receiving her medical degree from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completing her residency at Women & Infants Hospital.
Dr. Brendel is a clinical assistant professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and Rhode Island Medical Society. She is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the North American Menopause Society (NAMS) as a nationally certified menopause provider. Her areas of interest include perimenopause, menopause and bone health.
Dr. Brendel cares for gynecology patients and patients in the Menopause Consultation Program.
Teri Pearlstein, MD is director of Women’s Behavioral Medicine at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative. A professor of psychiatry and human behavior and professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, Dr. Pearlstein received a medical degree from New York University School of Medicine and completed her residency in adult psychiatry at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York. Pearlstein is board certified in psychiatry.
Dr. Pearlstein is a distinguished fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and past president of the North American Society for Psychosocial Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her clinical interests include depression and anxiety disorders in women, particularly in relation to the menstrual cycle, pregnancy, postpartum period, and menopause.
