Recovery Center

A Comprehensive Substance Use Recovery Program

Ending dependence on alcohol, opioids, or other drugs is a difficult challenge, but you don’t have to take it on alone.

The Lifespan Recovery Center helps people who struggle with substance use, sometimes in combination with a mental health condition such as depression or anxiety. Our program offers rapid access to treatment and support throughout the recovery process for you or a loved one who is trying to overcome a substance use disorder.

Our team works collaboratively to evaluate patients and provide the comprehensive, evidence-based treatment they need.

If you think you or a family member have a dependence on opioids, cocaine, stimulants, or drugs such as alcohol and marijuana, our experts can provide an evaluation.

Patients entering our program might be new to treatment, may have recently completed inpatient detoxification, or want to transition from a methadone program.

For patients with an opiate use disorder, we prescribe medications such as Suboxone (buprenorphine and naloxone) in combination with psychotherapies and the supports needed to succeed in recovery.

The center is a program of Rhode Island Hospital, part of the Lifespan health system, so our patients have seamless, timely access to specialized medical, behavioral, and mental health services.
