Five hospital employees honored for exemplary care

Today Hasbro Children’s Hospital celebrated its 2021 Brite Lite award winners with an outdoor gathering in the hospital’s Balise Healing Garden. Honorees are Lifespan employees who are nominated by Hasbro Children’s Hospital patients and their families for the dedication and compassion shown to children under their care.

The 2021 Brite Lites winners are:

  • Grace Brilhante of Warren, RI, patient accounts representative, ambulatory registration, Hasbro Children’s Hospital

“We are proud of the extraordinary caregivers who work at Hasbro Children’s Hospital, the only dedicated pediatric facility in Rhode Island,” said Saul N. Weingart, MD, PhD, president, Rhode Island Hospital and its Hasbro Children’s Hospital. “Our compassionate and dedicated staff use cutting-edge technology and best-in-class clinical practice to deliver amazing care to our patients and families each and every day.”

Launched in 2002, the Brite Lite employee recognition program highlights five employees who have gone above and beyond their everyday duties to make patients and families with whom they come into contact feel safe, important, and well cared for. Brite Lites are chosen as those who best characterize “the four Cs” at Hasbro Children’s Hospital: caring, communication, cooperation and competence.
