Child Life Student Internships
Applicants must be a matriculated student, enrolled in a child life specific undergraduate or graduate degree program. Interns seeking an independent placement will not be accepted. Application deadlines set forth by the Association of Child Life Professionals are strictly adhered to.
Requirements
- A completed ACLP common application. Previous and updated application forms are accepted at this time. Download the Internship Readiness Common Application Guide (PDF).
- Unofficial or official transcripts will be accepted.

Applications
We are not accepting applications for the fall 2024 or spring 2025 semesters. We will be accepting applications for the summer 2025 semester. We do not offer practicum or shadow opportunities.

Next Steps
If an application is accepted, an interview will be scheduled. Prior to scheduling an interview, the hospital must develop a contract with the academic institution.
