Your obstetrician or certified nurse-midwife will work closely with you and oversee every aspect of your care. Both you and your baby will be cared for by the same nurse. Our nurses are educated in all aspects of maternity and newborn care and are assisted by certified lactation consultants, nursing aides and student nurses. We are here to support you and your family before, during and after the birth. Our nurses are trained to provide answers to all your questions and to give experienced practical advice on everything from bathing and feeding to comforting fussy infants.
A skilled team is on hand to examine newborns and to provide a smooth transition to caring for your child in the months and years to come. Nurses and lactation consultants lend round-the-clock support seven days a week—even after mom and baby go home. Our 24-hour "Warm Line" is staffed by nurses who are available at any time, day or night, to answer questions about newborn care or just to chat with new mothers.
