Kaitlin Bennett, MS, is finance manager for the Lifespan Oncology Clinical Research Department at the Lifespan Cancer Institute. She manages the department’s research finances and oversees the finance team, including the research administrators. Prior to joining the Lifespan Cancer Institute, Bennett managed the research portfolio of the department of pediatrics at Hasbro Children's Hospital, where she oversaw all aspects of pre-award and post-award functions, including the management of research finance, leading major grant proposals, and promotion of scholarly activity.
Bennett has extensive experience in program management and leading interdisciplinary teams in exercise-based interventions. She received her master of science degree in kinesiology with a specialization in clinical and applied exercise science from the University of Rhode Island, and her bachelor of science in sport performance from Marian University.
