Stephanie Souza, MSN, RN is assistant clinical manager at the Comprehensive Stroke Center at Rhode Island Hospital. She has worked with cardiac and stroke patients throughout her career.
Prior to joining Lifespan Souza obtained experience at hospitals throughout Rhode Island. She held the position of stroke program coordinator at Landmark Hospital, and she was a member of the cardiac/telemetry unit nursing staff at Sturdy Memorial and the medical/surgical unit at Memorial Hospital.
Souza earned a master of science degree in nursing leadership from Western Governors University. She is a member and vice president of the Rhode Island Stroke Coordinators Network and a member of the Rhode Island Stroke Task Force. She is the chairperson of the Seekonk Board of Health.
Souza is fluent in Portuguese.
