Alison Manning, MD

Alison Manning, MD, is a psychiatrist at Hasbro Children's and Bradley hospitals.

Dr. Manning earned her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine. She completed the Triple Board combined training program in pediatrics, psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at Brown University.

Dr. Manning is board certified in pediatrics, adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry.

Prior to joining Lifespan, she worked as the medical director of the pediatric psychiatry consultation liaison service at Duke Children’s Hospital. She was promoted to assistant professor at Duke University School of Medicine in 2020.

Her research interests include peer mentorship and health coaching for youth with chronic conditions, improving healthcare transitions for youth with chronic physical illness, enhancing access to behavioral healthcare, and graduate medical education. She currently serves as the clinical director for the Pediatric Psychiatry Resource Network (PediPRN).
