Nurse Midwife

Grace Snell is a nurse midwife with Lifespan’s Women's Medicine Collaborative.

Before joining the Women's Medicine Collaborative, she worked as a nurse midwife at St. Vincent Hospital and Reliant Medical Group in Worcester, Massachusetts, Landmark Medical Center in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, and Brockton Neighborhood Health Center. Her experience includes time as a recovery room nurse and clinician at Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, a teaching assistant at the Yale University School of Nursing, a clinic volunteer at MamaBaby Haiti, and a clinical lab manager in Washington University School of Medicine’s department of psychiatry.

Snell earned a master’s degree in nursing from Yale University’s School of Nursing and a master’s degree in social work from Washington University in St. Louis.

She is certified in basic life support from the American Heart Association and neonatal resuscitation from the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is fluent in Haitian Creole.
