Petya D. Radoeva, MD, PhD

Petya Radoeva, MD, PhD, is a child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist at the Bradley Hospital Verrecchia Clinic for Children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities and Bradley Outpatient Services.

Dr. Radoeva earned a medical degree and doctorate degree in neuroscience from the MD/PhD program at the SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York. She completed her residency in the psychiatry program at the University of Washington in Seattle, where she was awarded an honor of distinction in research. She pursued a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Emma Pendleton Bradley Hospital, where she participated in the PediMIND research program.

Dr. Radoeva’s clinical and research interests include co-occurring psychiatric conditions in people with neurodevelopmental disorders. She was awarded an American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Pilot Research Award for Junior Faculty and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellows, focusing on the neural correlates of depressive symptoms in adolescents with autism spectrum disorder.

Dr. Radoeva is an assistant professor of psychiatry and human behavior at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She serves as a review editor on the editorial board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry specialty section of Frontiers in Pediatrics, Frontiers in Psychiatry, and Frontiers in Neuroscience . Her professional memberships include the International Society for Autism Research and the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
