Under the direction of the care teams at Bradley Hospital offer comprehensive outpatient mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and families from southern New England. A multidisciplinary staff of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and qualified trainees provides treatment using a variety of modalities including individual, group and family therapy, and psychopharmacologic management.

Comprehensive occupational therapy and speech and language evaluation and treatment for children and adolescents.
Counseling services for young children from birth to 8 years old, and their families.
Individual and family therapy to children ages 5 to 22 who have behavioral and emotional challenges and developmental disabilities.
Two levels of treatment at outpatient clinics that provide care to adolescents and their families who struggle with a wide variety of mental health, as well as substance use, issues.
The Bradley Hospital Crisis Service is an outpatient program for children and adolescents who have no current mental health provider and have an urgent need to be seen for a psychiatric evaluation and crisis stabilization.

Treatment plans are developed and coordinated with other providing agencies such as mental health centers, schools or community-based organizations. Depending on the patient’s needs, a variety of both individual and group therapies are also available through the hospital. In addition to the multiple outpatient clinics and programs, our care teams provide treatment for a wide range of common childhood psychiatric conditions.
