Psychoeducational Psychotherapy (PEP) Parent Therapy Group
Are you the parent of a child who is experiencing mood swings or other types of mood problems? Are you looking for support as you seek the different treatment options available to them? The Psychoeducational Psychotherapy (PEP) Group, coordinated through Bradley Hospital, is looking to recruit parents of children ages 7 to 13 who need support with their child’s mood problems.
The evidence-based PEP Group provides parents with psychoeducation on childhood mood disorder symptoms, course of the disorder, and effective treatments. The group also teaches positive parenting strategies for managing children’s mood and behavior and addresses parent-specific coping and self-care strategies.
