Patricia Nardone Soscia, MD, is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. After completing her fellowship in rheumatology at the UMass Medical Center, Worcester, she was an attending physician and clinical associate professor of medicine at University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. 
Dr. Soscia is experienced in a wide variety of musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases and is expert in managing systemic lupus erythematosus, vasculitis and scleroderma. A native Rhode Islander, Dr. Soscia joined LPG Rheumatology in 2008. She serves on the board of directors of the Arthritis Foundation New England Region and is committed to its mission “to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases.”
She was named to Rhode Island Monthly’s list of Top Doctors in 2014, 2015 and 2016.

Margarita Bockorny, MD is a physician with Lifespan Physician Group Rheumatology. One of her main interests is using musculoskeletal ultrasound for the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatologic conditions. She is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology, and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.

John M. Conte, MD, is board certified in internal medicine, rheumatology and geriatrics and is assistant clinical professor of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. 
Dr. Conte has volunteered at the Travelers Aid Society, the Rhode Island Free Clinic, and served on the Leadership Council for the Southern New England Arthritis Foundation. Dr. Conte was cited in Rhode Island Monthly magazine as a Top Doctor in Women's Health in 2009 and in rheumatology from 2010 through 2012.
He has performed clinical research on the effectiveness of various drug therapies for rheumatoid arthritis, Paget’s disease, and osteoarthritis.


Alisha Lakhani, MD, MPH is a board-certified physician specializing in rheumatology at Lifespan Physician Group. She earned her bachelor of science with honors and medical degree at Brown University and her master of public health at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health. She completed her internal medicine residency at Rhode Island Hospital and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She completed her specialty training in rheumatology at UMass Memorial Medical Center and the University of Massachusetts.

Dr. Lakhani’s research interests include the immune system’s role in psoriatic skin disease and the safety and efficacy of biological therapy in elderly patients. Clinically, she has an interest in women’s health and caring for young women with pregnancy related rheumatologic health issues. 


Erin K. Little, MD is a physician with Lifespan Rheumatology. Dr. Little received her undergraduate degree in general science and biochemistry from the University of Oregon. She went on to earn her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, Grenada. Dr. Little completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and her rheumatology fellowship at Tufts Medical Center. 

Dr. Little is a member of the American College of Rheumatology. 

Steve Schaub, MD, a board-certified physician, specializes in rheumatology at Lifespan Physician Group. Dr. Schaub’s research interests have included bone density comparisons and imaging findings in rare rheumatologic conditions.

He was the first author for a chapter for the Rheumatic Disease Clinics of North America and has presented at the American College of Rheumatology’s annual meeting. He received an award from The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and Lifespan’s department of medicine for a case presentation. He is a member of the American College of Rheumatology.
