Our expert care teams at the Sarcoma Multidisciplinary Clinic of the Lifespan Cancer Institute at Rhode Island Hospital, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, The Miriam Hospital, and Newport Hospital include many dedicated specialists in sarcoma diagnosis and treatment.

Physicians involved in a patient’s care gather weekly to discuss the unique circumstances of the patient’s condition and develop an appropriate treatment plan.

As faculty members of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University, our physicians are actively engaged in research to develop innovative and effective treatments for cancer.

Sarcoma Research

The Lifespan Cancer Institute is an active clinical trials site, committed to providing the latest treatment protocols. Our patients have access to groundbreaking new immunotherapies and other new and emerging cancer treatments at various stages of diagnosis and across many cancer types.

In addition, Hasbro Children’s Hospital is an active member of the Children’s Oncology Group (COG), the largest pediatric cancer clinical trial consortium in North America. Through COG, our pediatric and young adult patients have access to the some of the most leading-edge international clinical trials right here in Rhode Island.
