Our Programs

The Consultative Neuropsychiatric Evaluation (CNE) is a specialized, integrated assessment of the complex interactions of brain and behavior. The CNE involves a complete mental status examination with bedside neuropsychiatric cognitive testing, general neurological examination, and with school-age children, an examination of minor neurological issues.

Our program is affiliated with Brown University's departments of psychiatry and neurology and conducts studies sponsored by the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), the American Epilepsy Society, other private foundations and the department of psychiatry at Rhode Island Hospital.
