Trisha Freel, MS, CGC

Genetic Counselor

Trisha Freel, MS, CGC, is a certified genetic counselor with the Multidisciplinary Obstetric Medicine Service (MOMS) providers at the Women’s Medicine Collaborative.

Prior to joining Lifespan, she was the director of genetics at Advanced Tele-Genetic Counseling where she provided counseling to a variety of telehealth clients including the University of New Mexico Maternal Fetal Medicine and NEALS (Northeast ALS Consortium). She obtained substantial experience as a genetics counselor in prenatal care while working with high-risk obstetric patients at New Beginnings Perinatal Associates in New York, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in New Jersey, and Women & Infants in Rhode Island.

Freel earned a master of science degree in human genetics from Sarah Lawrence College. She is proficient in Spanish.
