Outpatient Mental Health Services for Children and Teens

Outpatient services, under the direction of Karyn Horowitz, MD, offers comprehensive mental health evaluation and treatment for children, adolescents and families from southern New England. A multidisciplinary staff of board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses and qualified trainees provides treatment using a variety of modalities including individual, group and family therapy, and psychopharmacologic management.

The extent of treatment depends on the patient's needs; treatment is often coordinated with other agencies such as mental health centers, schools or community-based organizations, as needed.
