Overnight Stays

We understand it may be difficult to leave your loved one during this time. However, because TICU nurses work 24 hours a day to care for patients, family members are discouraged from sleeping in the patient's room. If you think it's necessary for you to stay overnight, you are welcome to stay in our waiting area.

Meeting with a Physician

A physician is on duty 24 hours a day on the TICU. The physician will keep you informed of changes in your loved one's condition. If you need to speak to the physician, a nurse will assist you.
