Child Abuse Pediatrics Fellowship
This competitive fellowship is focused on training pediatricians to become medical experts in the areas of physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect (supervision, medical and physical), psychological abuse and neglect, and medical child abuse (factitious illness by proxy).
The fellow plays a critical role within the hospital’s Lawrence A. Aubin, Sr. Child Protection Center. Fellows provide clinical care to abused and neglected children, teach other clinicians, receive formal training and course work, and conduct research.
The hospital and medical school start accepting applications in July, with the fellowship starting in July of the next year.
