The division of pediatric nephrology and hypertension at Hasbro Children's Hospital offers a wide range of services, including dialysis and kidney transplant, in children from birth through adolescence. Our physicians are experts in the diagnosis and treatment of children who are suspected of having hypertension. Additionally, the division provides care and management for children with chronic kidney disease and end-stage renal disease. We are the only location in Rhode Island to provide 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring services to children.
Our patients benefit from Hasbro Children’s Hospital’s dedicated medical and surgical transplant team, state-of-the-art medical equipment, and specialty services that are tailored to each child’s needs. These services include pediatric pharmacy, nutritional support, school tutoring, children’s activities, social work and parent and family support groups.
Hasbro Children’s Hospital is the pediatric division of Rhode Island Hospital, the principal teaching hospital of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
