Outstanding Outcomes, Comfort and Care
The Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center at Newport Hospital has been providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for decades and is known throughout the region for its unique programs, excellent outcomes and patient-focused care.
A four-time Guardian of Excellence award winner, our inpatient rehabilitation program has also achieved accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). As part of a Magnet-designated hospital, the Vanderbilt Rehabilitation Center also offers you the highest quality nursing care available.
With three distinct programs, the center meets both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation needs. Our acute care rehabilitation services provide therapy for patients who are experiencing functional impairment or physical deconditioning while hospitalized for any reason. The Vanderbilt Inpatient Rehabilitation facility provides a comprehensive rehabilitation program on the sixth floor of Newport Hospital for people who still require close medical supervision by a physician, 24-hour rehabilitation nursing care, and at least three hours of coordinated therapies per day. The outpatient rehabilitation program includes physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech and language pathology services, for those who are back in the community.
We share our mission with Newport Hospital and its Lifespan partners: Delivering health with care.
