18-year-old Jenna Bergeron, of East Providence, had bariatric surgery at the age of 16. Because she was a teenager, Jenna had to meet strict guidelines, undergo psychological counseling, and complete nutritional counseling with a bariatric nutritionist. Since her surgery, Jenna has lost more than 100 pounds.
