The Thoracic Aortic Center’s multidisciplinary team has decades of experience providing medical and surgical treatment to patients with a wide spectrum of thoracic aortic conditions.
Our physicians are leaders in the latest techniques and technology used to diagnose and care for critical conditions such as thoracic aortic aneurysms and aortic dissection, as well as conditions with underlying genetic causes.
Physicians specializing in cardiology, cardiac and vascular surgery, interventional radiology and genetics, among other areas, provide screening, evaluation, long-term monitoring and treatment. All of our physicians are faculty members of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.

Our Facilities
Our patients are cared for in state-of-the-art facilities equipped with the latest imaging technology to inform and guide physicians’ decisions and pre-operative planning.
The Thoracic Aortic Center also has access to the state’s only endovascular hybrid operating suite, which enables our vascular surgeons to perform traditional open and catheter-based surgeries simultaneously.
