Food Is Medicine

Join the Lifespan Community Health Institute and the Warwick Public Library for a free, in-person, four-week cooking and nutrition series. Sample dishes and learn how to decrease your risk of obesity and related chronic diseases through food and diet changes, including:
- Learning how to prepare quick and healthy meals on a limited budget.
- Improving your health with simple food and diet changes.
- Learning to cook with olive oil to enhance the nutritional value of fresh and frozen food.
At the end of the series, you will receive a free Food Is Medicine recipe book and bottle of extra virgin olive oil.
Dates and Time of the Workshop
The classes will be held from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays from March 12 through April 2, 2024.
