Carsten Eickhoff, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Medical Science and Computer Science, and faculty at the Brown Center for Biomedical Informatics (BCBI). Dr. Eickhoff’s research focuses on the use of artificial intelligence (AI) for improving patient safety, individual health, and quality of medical care. His experience with AI, informatics, and big data will inform investigators’ work on predictive analytics for injury surveillance, prevention, and control.
