Linda Guzman, MA

Linda Guzman, MA, is a behavioral medicine psychology resident at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. Her research mentors are Rani Elwy, PhD and Hannah Frank, PhD. She is a sixth-year doctoral candidate in clinical psychology at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Before entering the clinical psychology doctoral program at the University of Arkansas, Guzman worked at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as a project coordinator at the Sheps Center for Health Services Research.

Guzman's research interests involve increasing access to mental health care services and focusing on culturally responsive evidence-based treatments for underserved populations. Her dissertation focuses on developing a clinical tool to enhance proper screening and identification of probable depression in Latinx adults with limited English language proficiency.
