Melissa Allahua is a clinical research assistant in the pulmonary and critical care team at Rhode Island Hospital. She joined the team in June 2016, and works primarily on pulmonary hypertension (PH) and biobank trials.
Allahua graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s degree in human physiology. While in school, she worked as a research assistant for a clinical asthma study (URECA) and in the Dominguez Laboratory. Her interests lie in clinical research, and she hopes to attend medical school in the future.
