Peter A. Belenky, PhD, is an assistant professor of molecular microbiology and immunology in the division of biology and medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. He received his PhD in biochemistry from Dartmouth Medical School in Hanover, NH. In his lab at Brown University, Dr. Belenky and his team study the responses of microbial communities and isolated microbes to external stress such as antimicrobial agents. He is a member of the COBRE Center for Antimicrobial Resistance and Therapeutic Discovery team at The Miriam Hospital.
