Daniel J. Levine, MD, is a cardiologist and director of the advanced heart failure program at Rhode Island Hospital, with expertise in congestive heart failure, consultative cardiology, diagnostic catheterization and noninvasive diagnostic cardiac testing. He is also a professor of medicine (clinical) in the department of medicine at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His research focus is heart failure. 

Levine received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York, New York and completed his residency at Columbia University Medical Center and a cardiology fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a member of the Heart Failure Society of America, and is board certified in internal medicine, general cardiology, echocardiography, and advanced heart failure and transplant.
