This Zoom event, titled "Virtual Forum: Fighting Stigma and Embracing Acceptance," features panelists who bring various perspectives to this important conversation about mental health, seeking help when you need it and fighting the stigmas associated with mental illness. It has been made possible in part by a grant from the Gruben Charitable Foundation.

Speakers

The panelists for this event will be Jon Brett, PhD, clinical psychologist and program director of the Adult Partial Hospital Program at Newport Hospital, Jamie Lehane, president/CEO of Newport Mental Health, Lori Kosicki, CPRS, CCHW, manager of Hope Recovery Center of Newport County, Anthony Pesare, retired chief of police for Middletown, mental health first aid instructor and Middletown prosecuting solicitor, and Jae Gil Lee, PhD, Pastor at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and adjunct professor of religious and theological studies at Salve Regina University.
