These individuals are responsible for directing and supervising student clinical experiences, evaluating students, developing curriculum, formulating policies and procedures, and evaluating program effectiveness at the Rhode Island Hospital School of Medical Technology.

Many of the laboratory pathologists, management and co-workers also participate in the education of the medical laboratory students.
