SafetyCare Behavioral Safety Training

SafetyCare Behavioral Safety Training is a 12- to 16-hour crisis management program that has been developed to work with clients who present behavioral challenges. By implementing preventive strategies, functionally based treatment procedures, and, when necessary, safety management interventions, the client’s quality of care and quality of life can be significantly enhanced. In the process, staff safety can also be greatly improved.

The program is divided into the following modules:

  • Introduction 
  • Incident prevention 
  • Incident minimization 
  • Incident management 
  • Post-incident procedures 
  • Role-playing 

The program is competency-based and requires successful completion of a written test and demonstration of specific skills.
