Meet Cali!

Cali is an Australian Labradoodle, hand-selected from a local breeder, and trained locally.

Cali is jointly handled by a Cranston police detective, and a physician from the Aubin Center. Cali helps foster an open and trusting dialogue with children and investigators as well as treating physicians. Cali provides comfort to children and families throughout their medical evaluation and can further support children when meeting with other community partners involved in their healing process.

Cali shares her time between Hasbro Children’s Hospital and the Cranston Police Department so you may have an opportunity to meet her when you visit the Aubin Center.
