Frequently Asked Questions
Do you accept my Health Insurance?
Lifespan accepts most major health insurance plans. Because there are hundreds of insurance providers offering many different plans, we ask that you please check with your health insurance company by calling them directly (the telephone number is on the back of your insurance card) to confirm that your visit/procedure will be covered.
Do you take Medicaid?
Do you take Rite Care?
Do you take Neighborhood Health Plan?
All of our specialties accept Neighborhood Health Plan.
However, Women's Primary Care is not a designated Neighborhood Health Plan provider. We apologize for any inconvenience.
If I am sick, will I be able to be seen?
Call your provider's office. You will be offered a sick visit appointment within 24 hours. We also have registered nurses available to speak with you to triage your symptoms.
Can lab work and testing still be done at Women & Infants?
We have a lab in the West River building. You can have your blood work done at the lab of your choice.
