IMRT: Revolutionary Radiation Therapy

Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT) is an advanced and precise method of external beam radiation therapy. It delivers high doses of radiation directly to the tumor while sparing the surrounding healthy tissue. IMRT allows the customization of radiation dose by modulating, or varying, the amount of radiation dose given to different parts of the treatment area.
